Tips for Selling at a Mom 2 Mom Sale!

Tips for Selling at a Mom 2 Mom Sale!

1. You should have all your items sorted, organized and priced BEFORE the sale so you are able to just set up your display day of the sale hassle free.

2. You should set your display up organized by size, style and/or season – unorganized tables get the least amount of business.

3. Masking tape works best (doesn’t fall off clothes) for pricing!

4. Make sure everything is priced! You will not want to spend your time answering pricing questions and neither will your customers!

5. You should tape, safety or clothes pin sets.

6. You can use “bins” for same priced item if you are looking to save on space – some use laundry baskets for this.

7. You should price in easy math increments such as $.25, $.50, $1.00 (not $.99) etc.

8. You should make sure you have enough change!

9. Towards the end of the sale, if you have items that you want to sell quickly, have a “discount” pile.

10. MOST IMPORTANTLY - price your items accordingly and reasonably! If it is holey or overly stained, don’t bring it or mark it super cheap so customers know it isn’t in good condition, or otherwise known as in "play condition".

**Large Items: Make sure you label your table number and pricing information so people know who to go pay!
